... And it's definitely my fault. Found a $24.99 lifeproof fre for iPhone 5 and ordered about an hour ago on eBay... Hesitant now and doubt the scammer, I mean seller, will accept my request for a refund. Take a look at the link...

LIFEPROOF iPhone 5 CASE BRAND NEW white

Hoping I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

From the Lifeproof website:

Genuine LifeProof products are only available through reputable,
authorized retailers
. Cases purchased from sites like eBay or craigslist, or from unauthorized storefronts, flea markets or swap meets are always questionable.
Here's a list of authorized retailers:
http://www.lifeproof.com/en/distributors-and-resellers

And, if it indeed turns out to be a fake, you can report the seller here:
http://www.lifeproof.com/en/fake-lifeproof-case/report-counterfeit-lifeproof-cases

Good luck!

Dunno if I'd call that being scammed....
Everything u need to know is right there. Seller has over 300 transactions, so it's not like he's fly by nite.
Has had a few negatives over the past 6 months...

If u pay by PayPal, your covered for items not as described.

Thanks for the replies! It says guaranteed to be delivered by February 7, so I won't have to wait too long which is a plus! I wanted to find a cheap one, even if used, so I suppose it's just a waiting game now. Good to know I'm covered since I used PayPal :)

Look at the bright side, even of its counterfeit, as long as it works, you just saved some major money :D

This was my whole point. I like the look of the case, and wouldn't ever submerge my phone under water even if the case was a million dollars.. Just personal choice... Just hoping everything aligns properly in the inside and whatnot.

Even if it works, you will get Zero warranty from Lifeproof.
You really going to trust it around water? Screen is probably going to be wavy as hell & sounds issues :-(

That's what I've heard (screen) and no, like I said above, I won't trust it around water... Not sure id trust one from lifeproof itself around water. Just a personal opinion. Here's to being optimistic.

I'd rather not pay for a warranty, I'll take a cheaper counterfeit any day, now if I was a scuba diver and in need of a submarine case, then I'd consider paying the bloated price :D

Exactly! Water doesn't play much of a role in my life, and quite frankly, when I am near or in water, I don't need my phone! No offense at all to anyone who does! I'm sure it's awesome to take pics under water, just not my cup of tea ;)

Well, turns out its fake (knew it). The screen is not flush with the phone in more than one place, the home button is very hard to push, and people say when they talk to me that I sound like I'm really far away, even with volume all the way up. Also, the sound quality when playing iTunes is extremely muffled and not very loud :( Looks good though! :/

Doh.
