Apple didn't include a video recording feature in the new iPhone because they plan to make much more money by selling it as an application in the AppStore...

Today 2 companies announced their live video braodcasting app is ready!

One is even supposed to come sometimes next week to jailbroken iPhone! Yeah.

Check this out for more info.

I knew all along that the iPhone was advanced enough to include video they just didn't wanna put it haha!
-But It says on the iPhone 3G, will/should this work for the V1 iPhone?

Broadcasting

I think it will work well on 3G & WiFi only.

Yes, so on a v1 iPhone you could broadcast via Wi-Fi. I really can't see this working well on Edge at all. But if it does that would be awesome.

Apps like Qik working via 3G only is making me lean towards selling and upgrading. I'm going to see what the App Store has to offer first and see how fast and easily 2.0 can be Jailbroken.
