Ok on my hubbies phone the location services is on but Siri says its not. When I try to go turn it off then on again it won't let. Also the same thing on find my iPhone it's on but won't let me turn it off. Everything is in gray instead of black like we don't have access to it? Any help please?

Settings > Location Services > Siri

    Then reset your phone.

This might not be the reason but my friend had the same problem where he couldn't get location service to turn off. He realized he set up a perimeter for a reminder

Do you think it may have to do with it being a sim card from an iPhone 4 and not a new one?

You can go to reminders and set it to remind you when you get to a certain destination

iOS 7 did something to my moms location services...restrictions are enabled and don't remember the password.

What's my best option, I can't loose any of her notes or anything.

Start with 0001, 0002, 0003, etc. until you hit the right number. After awhile, It will make you wait one hour between attempts.

Ask your mom what her password is.

Why not try saving her notes etc elsewhere?

Why won't asking your mom for her password work?

Unfortunately, in order to make changes to the restrictions or to disable restrictions, you need that password. I am unsure if Apple or AT&T can assist you in getting your passcode recovered without having to restore.

It looks like your best option is to restore. Can you put your moms notes and other important information in another place such as email?

And her icloud email she used is no longer in use.

But, before you restore, if you decide to, it would be best to save her notes etc somewhere safe aside from on or near the iPhone or other device. Is this possible?
