I have the smart cover, but I really need full coverage.

What case do you guys recommend? Perhaps some that work with the smart cover?

Do you recommend the smart case?

    Thanks friends

Smart Cover is different than the Smart Case. Cover wraps the whole device, cover just the front.

I have the Smart Case and do recommend it. It's worth the extra $10-$20.

A dodo case is the one I have for my iPad and it's awesome because it looks exactly like a book when u close it and it fully engulfs the iPad for protection

I myself prefer leather case. How do you feel about it?

I've posted this before on other case threads...but, I have a leather Smart Cover and a Zagg leather skin on the back. After 1-year, no scratches or issues at all.

    Hi target, it sounds nice.

But I just found a case with perfect winter feel! Ordered already!

I don't see the need to have the back of my iPad covered. The aluminum back has held up nicely without any protection. I would just use the Smart Cover if I use anything at all.

I did it for better grip as well. Now I place it in a Booq pad case. With the zagg cover on it helps hold the iPad in place.

My ideal setup is a simple snap-on back cover that has a cutout for the Smart Cover. Getting the Smart Case would be a safe overall setup as well.

"Smart Covers attach via magnets and protect only the screen. Smart Covers wrap around and protect both the back and the screen. " I think you mean "Smart Covers attach via magnets and protect only the screen. Smart Cases wrap around and protect both the back and the screen." There's actually a couple similar errors in the first paragraph. Great article and nice comparisons, though!
