I know I've seen it, but I can't find which app it is. I want the temperature for my area continually in my status bar. None of the weather apps I have looked through have that option. I did a search and came up empty too.
Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!(y)

Weather icon FTW. You can tweak the app to display what you would like.
I use the temperature in the status bar, but I turn off the weather icon in the status bar (too cluttered).

My WeatherIcon was working find until a few minutes ago. I had to respring my iPhone and got a message that WeatheIcon requires libstatusbar in order to run. Tried looking for it in Cydia, but it does not exist. I tried deleting WeatherIcon (and LibWeather) and reinstalling, but now I get a Size Mismatch message. Anyone else having this issue?

Another member has just mentioned this in another thread.

You do need libstatusbar in order for this tweak to work. Remove the package from Cydia. Reboot. Launch Cydia and reinstall it.

If you still get an error, it may be because the repo(s) which WeatherIcon is in, could be suffering from a lot of traffic.

Thanks as always John, funny thing is that it was working fine without the libstatusbar. Any idea what the repo is?

BTW, still getting the "Size Mismatch" error, so I guess the repo for the WeatherIcon is getting hammered.

I only mentioned repo(s) because WeatherIcon is the tweak but also needs other packages for it to run.

I'm not even sure how you had it working. lol.

I found weather icon when i was looking for a reason as to why the Apple Weather icon on the home page would not change, and thought it would be a great feature to have. Cydia to the rescue.

Very strange, I've had it working since, probably, 2.0 days. It's only today that I removed the iRetiner and restarted my springboard that it stopped working. I know that other then the tweak, you need LibWeather for it to work. Apparently, libstatusbar is only available for developer download in Cydia, which I was able to get once I changed my Cydia profile. Modmyi repo is currently down, I guess that is the reason I cannot download WeatherIcon.

How do I get the temp to update in the status bar? Do i have to open the weather app to do so? This is how I'm doing it now, but it sux.
If you are using Weather Icon like suggested above, you can go into settings/weather icon/weather settings/refresh every.......... from there you can select from 1 minute refresh up to 6 hour refresh. I've got mine set for every 5 minutes or everytime I open the weather app (I'm basing it on "the weather channel" app vs. the OEM weather app.

Thanks, Terry! I was playing around last night and picking different weather apps I have. I foyund out that the stock iPhone weatehr app, is actually powered by The Weather Channel anyway (click the i in the lower right corner).

Hmmm... didn't realize that myself. If I'd known that I may not have installed the "Weather channel" app. Meh, yeah I would. I use that thing daily. I'm like you though, I really like having the weather up in my status bar for quick glances.
