    Hi,

Hope one of you can help me? I updated my software to OS5, only to later find out my custom ringtones have been removed. Not only this, but when I open iTunes and sync my phone, the ringtones folder / on the bar has also been removed. Therefore I cannot upload new ringtones, etc.

    Any advice?

    Thanks!

The ringtones tab in iTunes will return once you have dragged an m4r file into it. If you want to make any ringtones from existing songs, right click and create AAC version. Copy the song to the desktop. Edit the file type extension from m4a to m4r. Be sure to remove the m4a you created in iTunes then drag the newly created m4r into iTunes and it will be in the newly created ringtones tab. Sample length can be changed in the original files play length in iTunes.
