    Hey Guys & Ladies,

Can someone tell me how to fix lag when making a video/review with a Logitech C930e webcam. I'm not leaving any open programs running in the background that would cause the lag while I am making the video. I have no idea how to fix this.

Have you tried it with the built-in iSight camera and iMovie?

Yeah, the video is jittery and delayed if that sounds right.

I wonder if the recording is ok, but the playback is what's giving your problems. If you have the file, try using VLC to play it back. See if it's a problem with the recording or just iMovie choking on it.

When I use the iSight camera on my laptop iMovie, Photo booth and Quicktime Player works fine but not the Logitech c930e camera. It lags when I hit record the audio and movement is delayed.

Upgrading to a new MacBook Pro would probably fix the lag, but I would just stick with the iSight camera and iMovie and return the Logitech.

It's a firmware/software issue confirmed by Logitech supposely they are working on a update for the Logitech c930e to work with Mac OS X Maverick.

Found the fix with the help of Apple tech support at the local Apple store the guy claimed it was a glitch in the webcam software from Logitech and now its working great.

Have you tried reinstalling the software? If that didn't work, please list your computer specs and Logitech model.
