If I figure right I'm looking at about 2 months. That's if I don't lose my spot by doing a restore or something.

I'm in as of Wednesday. It's a pretty nice App. I only signed up one of my email addresses. So far so good. It's easy to use but I have to get into it more, use it more. I find myself still going to the iPhone Mail App. I haven't put all the email addresses I use in it to really give it a good try. I need to so I can see how it will handle it.

Mine seems to be active now, I had a badge alert on the app.
First screen is asking to load Gmail account. That's the only one I have I don't use......
They don't support iCloud yet? What rubbish is that? Gmail is where I direct all my trash email, and occasionally CC myself at that account in the case of a crucial email in case Apple's iCloud service HQ (and their backup site(s)) all get hit by a meteor simultaneously.

You haven't "put all the email addresses in"? So the thing can't access your contacts?

Also, is it able to be designated as your default Mail app, so that if you're looking at a picture in your Camera Roll and tap Share > Mail, Mailbox will launch instead of the stock app?

That would be a GREAT feature. Anyone confirm or deny this?

Hey sorry to get back to you so late. I was out with the family shopping. It did ask to access my contacts. I gave it access. There were no issues with that.

No. Mailbox does allow you to add a photo to the email from within the app.

I joined the fray, just for the excitement and sense of solidarity with those of you waiting. I don't think the app will become my go-to app for e-mail, however.

I think the countdown is cool, and Apple should implement such a system for their retail locations at the next iPhone launch. An app is made available for all smartphone operating systems, not just iOS, and you run the app when you're within, say, 500 feet of the store. The app can verify this using GPS, of course. You get assigned a number. When the doors open, the employees start calling out numbers, and you show your number on your Smartphone. The app would effectively eliminate the need to stay in line for x number of hours; you could drive by, grab a number, then go to Denny's for some grub, then come back.

The few people who don't already own a Smartphone would walk up to a ticket printing device and scan their thumbprint; only one number per thumbprint is issued. They could get fingerprinted upon return to verify their ticket wasn't transferred to another party.

The only flaw is how to handle those customers who may get their thumb amputated after the initial scan and are unable to get it reattached in time for the verification re-scan.

I reserved at 220K and got in a week. They move quickly now with that many users.

I think, however this thing is killing my battery. Either that or the new iOS update.

Finally reached my reservation. I am going to try it out for the next week as my primary mail app. Battery drainage does seem to be a problem so far. The app looks and works great so far.

I'm not experiencing any excess battery drain using Mailbox. AFAIK, it should improve battery life because it doesn't actually download any email until you open the app. Although it does provide push notifications. The stock email app would use more resources because it checks at a set interval (unless set to manual) or push emails.

It may have dropped more this morning because I had to do the initial rearranging of my emails. I used it fairly heavily to get my emails sorted first thing this morning.

I'm under 100,000 for the first time yesterday. Once I'm in, I'll give it a good one week trial for my email accounts. We'll see...

I've using it for about a week. I'd like to see other services besides Gmail. I feel it's a battery drain but can't pinpoint it.
