Maps able to edit route?

Let me start by saying I do not yet have an iPhone.

On maps.google.com you can edit your route by dragging the line around to different roads. Can this be done on the iPhone?

Yes, you can go to maps.google.com on the iPhone. It is very slow but it can be done that way.

Let's not forget the OP's question. Although maps.google.com is "accessible" via Safari there is no way to dynamically alter routes via dragging. You're lucky to even get it to route directions via Safari (always times out for me).

Very true. Sorry about that Robodeath. Although the site is accessible through Safari it does not have all the functionality that you have on a desktop computer because you are still under the limitations that the iPhone has.
