Just curious if this is legit. How can people sell mobile me for 36 dollars when it retails for 99. If it's legit I'd buy?

I know there are plenty of scams surrounding AppleCare on eBay, so I wouldn't trust eBay for MobileMe. Does Amazon sell MobileMe?

Surprising that it does work out sometimes. I purchased MM via ebay and had good experience.

Buying Mobile Me from eBay is fine, as long as you get the right seller. I paid $50 for MM on eBay, and I was able to activate it as soon as I got the box in the mail. No problem at all. As always, check the sellers feedback, and whether they have sold Apple products before with no issues......

Cool, good for you! My subscription renews every year automatically at $99. I wonder if you can purchase one of these "cheap" keys for a renewal?

Yes, you can do this with no problem. You just need to stop the automatic renewal first.

You can purchase MM on amazon and eBay. Check the sellers out like you would with any purchase.

I think they sell them cheap because they bought it when getting a iPhone and then never used it.

I paid 76 for the 149 retail family pack this year and have paid 50 or so when i had the single user. I only buy if they send me the sealed box.

would you mind sharing the sellers name so that those of us that are looking to purchase can look him up?

Just search the listings and look for ones that have the full box and nit just the code. I would not have him open the box and email the code ( now the code is exposed). I only bid/buy ones that are in the box sealed. I read online about people trading codes and Apple not permitting them to be used.

Just a side note, I had him open the box and send me the code via email, it was legit still.

Just remove the auto renew by CC option and it should let you input the redemption code.
