    Hi there

Anyone know if & how you can hide the music progress bar on ios6.1?

Mine seems to be stuck there!

    Cheers

If it's on the lock screen, you can double-tap the home button.

Hmmm. Double-tapping the screen gets rid of it, but I don't think that's what you're looking for.

Turn to landscape. That definitely gets rid of it. But I don't think that is what you're looking for.

It is just stuck there. The iPhone 5 has a taller screen so you can still see the whole album cover while its playing. No real reason (in Apple's mind) to have it hidden

The problem is that it shouldn't be stuck. Mine moves as the song plays. If it wasn't stuck, you wouldn't be asking how to hide it, right?

Try force quitting the iPod app. If that doesn't work, do a hard reset by pressing the home and power buttons at the same time and ignoring the slide to power off.

Whe I said 'stuck', I didn't mean 'not moving along as the song plays', the progress bar in the 3GS, 4s with the smaller screen disappears when you tap the screen. As the iPhone 5 is taller there's space for it and thereforee no need to disappear as it doesn't obscure the album cover
