My iPhone 4 does not vibrate anymore. This has been like this since iOS 6 installed, and still with iOS 7. I have tried the obvious things on numerous occasions and tried some suggestions on the Apple blog all with no joy. Any suggestions, please?

Rebooting the iPhone; on Settings/Sounds switching 'Vibrate on ring' and 'Vibrate on Silent' on and off; on Settings/Sounds/Ringtones/vibration changing the type of vibration; physically shaking the iPhone (this was recommended on the Apple blog!)

    Try resetting all settings.

Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

Well, the last step is factory restore. If it doesn't work after that, it's probably a hardware problem.

Usually it would be a hardware issue. Did you get any repairs done to the phone where the vibrator may not have been reinstalled correctly?
