I have an Otterbox Strada case.

When I close the cover, the phone cannot hear me say Hey Siri. The mic at the bottom is clear. When I open the case, the phone hears me fine. I don't think the cover is covering any mics. Am I wrong? The mic on the bottom is clear, and the mic next to the rear camera is clear. Are there any other mics that the cover is blocking? This is irking me, as I use Hey Siri often.

I get up every morning and say, "Hey Siri. Weather report." Right from my bed. Nice! I love being able to make my mobile work for me.

Is there any kind of sleeper magnet on the cover that shuts the screen off immediately? That might be doing something. My BlackBerrys always had magnets in the slip in sleeve cases I favored to put the device to sleep right away. Big battery saver over time.

There is a magnet in the closure. That shouldn't affect the phone though. At least I wouldn't think so. Plus, the iPhones don't have the magnets in them that control sleep and wake like the iPads do.

Dump the Otterbox case, and get a THULE tough case your problem is solved.
