ok well my computer just broke down on me and i had bought all of music but being completely stupid i didn't back it up so i went and got a macbook and i had pretty much all my music on my iPhone but i want to get it off of it and put it on my new macbook i just bought any one got any ideas on how to do this?!?

I once heard that Apple will let you redownload the music you got on iTunes, it may be worth a call.

I'm pretty sure that there is a 3 computer limit for iTunes downloads.

So if the first computer is the only computer to which you downloaded iTunes music, then you can download your music library purchases 2 more times, including to your MacBook.
I did this recently because I reformatted my harddrive while forgetting to backup my iTunes purchases.

To redownload your iTunes library:
1) Run iTunes on your Mac.
2) Pull down the Store Menu from the top and select "Check for Purchases."
3) Enter your account name and password
4) Voila.

After it's over, you should get some message saying that you can download to 1 (or 2) more computers.
