new i touch question-re: buying warranty

Just purchased one and wondering if I should buy the warranty.

Hard to tell someone what to do on this subject. I have always felt they are a waste of money. These things are sold to make money. They know going in the average cost of a repair and the frequency in which they happen. This cost is add to profit which = the cost of the warranty. You will get so many opions on this that there will be no answer. In the end you will have to decide for yourself, but I would no do it. This is true of all warranties. There is a high profit margin in them.

i didn't buy the warrant for the ipod and i don't feel that it's really necessary (altho i did buy it for my macbook), so it all depends on how you feel that you're going to treat your Ipod, if you're what i called a heavy user, the one that almost always drops it, forgets when he put it and stuff like that, i think that yes, you should buy it, but if you're a good one, that really takes care of it, then i don't see the need...
