I figured it would be a Fall launch. Some folks I know are desperately hoping there is a summer launch because they didn't get the 4S. They think Siri is not worth the purchase. They are holding out for the new one and just swear it'll be out this summer.

Nope. I don't think Apple will have it out in a few months. I think it'll be an annual thing. No more summer releases. Not a problem for me.

The 4 inch screen wouldn't be a surprise, I think the aluminum back is stylistically reverting backwards and I can't really see rubber sides. I know the bumper is popular and I like it myself, but I can't see this as a standard feature.

I don't like the idea of the rubber sides, but who knows maybe it will make it more durable which is what they are going for.

Ug...now the fights about screen size and speed and camera and RAM home button and and and will start.....
Yeah, I know. Here we go again with all of the lame speculations from the people who are self proclaimed Apple experts.
SMH.

I don't think aluminum would be a step back in the design department, in fact by coming out with the all glass and metal design, they likely can never go back to plastic. I think the idea they're stating is very possible, they aren't saying it would have a rubber bumper around the sides. The way I interpret it, it's more like a small rubber bezel separating the glass screen from the aluminum case allowing a interference free antenna.

The picture (and most likely the story) is fake...if nothing else, where is the flash for that camera?

I comfortably call BS on BGR!
Everything about the story is fake. That design was one if the ones thrown around as being the 4S design before it came out.
BRG is so full of it. You can't believe any of these stories unless it comes directly from the source.......especially this early in the game.
