No. Usb1.1 is just a little slower than 2.0 but in reality you shouldn't see a big difference.

according to my friend (who bought the iPhone when it first came out) his didn't work with usb 1.1
he had to use his other computer with usb 2.0 to actually transfer songs onto it

the actual concern and question was... i have a computer that has a usb port 1.1---and the new 3g iPhone specs state that it requires a usb 2.0.. so, would i have a problem syncing the new 3g iPhone to my computer that has a usb 1.1?
