new "kill switch"?

    I keep reading about a new kill switch with ios8. What is it and how does it work and or how do I acitvate it

    do you mean the new position of the lock button on iPhone 6 and 6 plus?

    No. Apparently apple implemented a new type of anti theft. I could be wrong

    Maybe it's something you can activate from Find My iPhone from your computer in case it's lost or stolen.

    Pretty sure this is a carrier feature. Not something for the end user.

    Exactly. If you report your phone lost or stolen to your carrier they can disable it completely via remote command. Nothing for the user to see or do. In fact, you can't see it.
