So I've had an iPhone since December and I had something wrong with it and they gave me a refurbished. After that stopped working I demanded a new one and they sent me a new one in the box. When I plug in the phone, it asks me to activate my phone new(like when first activating phone), when I know there is a way to just click back up as old. I am using my old sim card, but I do not know how to get to this screen. If anyone knows what I need to do in order to activate the phone, please help. Thank you!

I think if it doesn't offer you the option to restore from backup, you are unable to, for whatever reason. I don't know of any way to force a backup restore. Is your contact/calendar information synced with any programs other than iTunes?

All my contacts and calendar stuff are on my mac software. My sister had the same problem, and they sent her a new one but when she plugged it in right away it asked her if she wanted to back it up just like if it was a restored phone.
