I am going to get either an iPhone 3GS or a new iPod touch.

I am currently using a Razr and a Palm Tungsten.

Here is my question ... I have a few thousand names, numbers, etcetera in the Palm Tungsten.

How can I get them into a new Apple iPhone/iPod product.

I also have an Apple eMac as a desktop and an Apple iBook as a laptop.

LWW - Doesn't upgrade just toi be spending money.

Sync the Palm with outlook, and you can then either sync the contacts from outlook to the iPhone, or export them to a .csv file that you can import into most address books, such as gmail, that you could then sync to your iPhone.

yeah, sync the palm to your address book on your mac and then you will be able to put them in your iPhone no problem.

Like stated above it's actually quite simple and everything on iPhone / iPod is wayyy more simple than palm IMO.

You could also sync them to a Google/Gmail, Yahoo, or MobileMe account and then sync them onto the iPhone through that account in iTunes. The iPhone will also import contacts from a SIM. It will not export to SIM's though.
