I was using iOS7 on my iPhone 5 and everything was working fine.

I received my iPhone 5S in the mail today and finished setting it up hours ago. For a long time, I was not receiving any notifications at all despite them being set to on and nothing having been changed.

I was able to fix notifications for my Twitter application (Tweetbot) and Mailbox app but nothing else seems to be working, most notably any of my mail accounts (which include Gmail and private mail servers).

Any thoughts/suggestions/experiences?

I saw there was a known problem about getting messages that required a connection to iTunes for push notifications to work. I did NOT receive that message or anything similar.

The only thing I can think to do is back-up, factory reset and then restore from back-up?

I'm sure by now you have fixed this, please let us know how you resolved it. I had a similar issue and was able to fix it by turning off every thing in notification center and then doing a hard reset and then turning it back on.
