Is there a way to set the number of rings before
a call is forwarded....so your phone will ring a few
times (3) and then it will forward to another
phone number?

I could do this with Cingular and a razor, but can't
find anything. If I set the iPhone to call forward,
I don't get a ring at all on the phone.

Thanks.

I don't think so. However, if you press the sleep button up top once while ringing it will continue to ring for the caller but be quiet for you. If you press the button TWICE while ringing, it will shoot the caller straight to voicemail instantly. I do this often for calls that I want to think my phone is off to. (does that make sense?)

Sure does. But I often go for "hmmm, must have been out of range or something" too. :)

I found an article that says....

*61*+1XXXXXXXXXX*11*tt#

So that's for time (tt) in seconds (05 to 30) before voicemail answers.

Its also shown as #61#+1......

How do I find my voicemail phone #?

Dial *#61#, write down the number it tells you.
Then dial *61*+1XXXXXXXXXX*11*tt#

Where the 10 "X"'s is the number it gave you, and tt is the time between 5 and 30 seconds, in increments of 5.
