You mean like ABC123 style. Where u hit a number several times to get that certain letter?

    Wrong
T9 does the words by the combination of buttons you hit.

Tap the '123' button in the lower left corner to switch to the numeric keyboard. Tap 'ABC' to return to the default keyboard.

I don't think she is asking how to get to numbers. Assuming she is using the app for her post she obviously knows how to get numbers.

Hard to say since the question was ambiguous. She may have used a computer to type the question. I wrote that just in case that was what she meant. There's no harm if it wasn't what she was asking, right? Just covering all the bases. :)

I'm still not sure what you are asking. If you are referring to ABC123, which is the default setting on flip phone, then no, you can't do that on an iPhone. Typing on a QWERTY keyboard is more efficient and faster.

Let us know how it works.
Don't give up on the qwerty keyboard. It takes a bit to get used to especially with the touchscreen but eventually it will be second nature like abc123.

Try "Keypad 2" app... very simple, quick and like almost exactly like a nokia, no cutting or pasting needed into iPhone SMS (automatic), contacts easy etc...
