Email formatting is 100% Better than it was before! ... Especially the wide emails that you would get, now they appear to all fit on the screen correctly and appear to be formatted a bit better. The mail application appears to be running faster as well.

Overall the whole OS appears to be more snappy. I actually had to do a restore this afternoon "to un-jailbreak" my iPhone. "I have a Genius Bar Appointment Tomorrow" And did notice the speed pickup with stock 2.1 ... Feels even faster with 2.2 Anyone else notice the additional snappiness?

It always feels more snappy after a firmware upgrade or restore. You have cleaned everything out from before, similar to doing the same thing with a computer. So don't expect it to last long term

Appears to have fixed the issue where you would get vertical lines on the screen while the phone was in idle mode and receiving an email.

Yeah, I hate how Apple improves on things for us for free. I'm selling my iPhone, what a piece of junk.

(sarcasm)
