They knew that everyone would be activating their phones around the same time. Now their telling me that all stuck iPhone activations are stuck until they find the problem....i have been waiting over 13 hours and still no activation. I got a email saying they are in the process of activating it but still no second email....I really hope AT&T fixes it, i would like to use my $600 phone

Yup, Im on hour 7 of on hold time/customer support time.
They screwed up my account info, so I have to fix it up even before I TRY to activate. Nice $630 paperweight I'd say.
Staring at your iPhone...that must truly be the REAL HELL
