How come? It never worked out for you or you lost interest? I'm not sure if I will buy this. There will probably be cheaper alternatives.

Taking the case off, I wasn't impressed with micro, same with the wide lens and the fish eye pictures are just ugly. The only reason I really wanted it was for the wide angle lens, won't explain the 80 dollars investment, with only 30 extra bucks I can can a 50mm nikkor for my Nikon.

And I lost interest too I guess.

I'd be interested in a cheeper alternative, like 20-30 max for a wide angle, that's about it.

I wish the Olloclip had some sort of adapter that would allow you to use it even when your phone is secured in a case.

Yep, my Otterbox Defender is a bit of hassle to remove and put back on.

It needs to be positioned directly over the phone's camera lens. Cases would create a gap that would make the photos less clear. Also, there is a wide selection of cases available and it would be difficult to make one that was compatible with all of them.

Does it attach with a magnet?

No, it slides in on the corner so there can't be a case on. They sell similar lens attached to a case, but I don't know either the quality of the case or lens, nor how much it costs.
