Title pretty much says it all. First one had a dead spot in the touch screen and wouldn't hook up to WIFI. Apple sent me a loaner and everything worked perfect. Today i received the replacement for the first belly up phone. Docked it, activated and synced without any problems. The only problem with the new replacement phone is that it has zero sound coming from the speaker. I called Apple and they had me do all the resets, then restore. Same crap, no ring tone ,no sound out of the speaker from any application. I will be on the phone with Apple again in the morning and hopefully they will just let me keep the "loaner" phone and send back the faulty replacement phone.

This is getting really old really fast. I'm so tired of being on the phone with Apple tech support that I'm about ready to scream. I can't believe they would send a phone that has supposedly passed QC and the damn sound doesn't even work. Kind of makes you wonder what kind of QC the iPhone goes through.

if they were even going to let you keep the loaner phone, why would you want one that says "AppleCare Service" engraved on the back?

Because, two years from now, he'll be able to show up at the Apple Store and say, "Hey! Where's my phone? I've had this loaner forever! What? No more iPhones left? All that you have are the new iPhone Pro's? Well, okay, I'll take one of those, I guess!" ;)

Seems to happen way too often with products that are made in China. Just My opinion..

The rate these things are failing there will be a lot of iPhones in with the "Applecare Service" in use.

At this point i wouldn't care if it was scribbled on the back. I would just like a phone that works !
