Onscreen touch-pad user-interface w iPhone?

http://notablecalls.blogspot.com/
Calls of Note Part 5 - Broadcom has obtained a noteworthy design win in the upcoming “stealth phone,” about to be offered by a major consumer device company.

So what is this design? A system on a chip (SoC) that enables an onscreen touchpad feature that is likely going to enable a new type of user interface for the phone.

Here is a new Audio/Visual iPod concept for such a touchscreen (URL below – click to see photos). These photos are likely good fakes. Hoax or not, this touch-screen concept (or something close) may be designed into the new “phone enabled” iPod.

Just confirming ... :p a bit more research reveals that this AViPod concept is indeed a nicely done photoshop fake (as suspected). To see how these photos are rendered take a peek at the following links ... the video shows how it's done. Don't always believe what you see  ... better to touch :) -
