Does anybody know what the OTA update for my Verizon iPhone was this morning? It just asked me to do an update, but I'm not sure what it was for.

Are you running an iOS5 beta?

No, just the regular release of 4. I couldn't find anything about it all day. Maybe it was a radio update or something.

I also was asked to update. Im on 4.2.7 jailbroken, and everything is working just as it was before. Not sure what it was.

You've probably updated your carrier settings.

Yeah, that was my guess, too.

You're both right, it was just carrier settings! ;)

So what does that do? I haven't noticed any differences.

It is just a network settings update, they're pushed out every so often to keep your carrier settings up to date.
