I've been running into this with my iPhone 4s since I can last remember. I've had it since release date.

What happens is, if someone calls me while I'm laying down and we're talking, they always end up going "I can't understand what you're saying", "what?" if the phone is anything other than facing up (as if you're standing or sitting up). This has become more and more annoying lately because I can't speak while laying down at all because of the echo or whatever they're hearing.

I haven't taken it to the Apple Store just yet. Considering I got it on release date, they should likely replace it shouldn't they? Has anyone else had this problem with their 4s? I take really good care of my iPhone, so I'm a bit curious.

How are you holding it? Blocking the mic maybe?

Kind of like laying on my back with my head on the pillow. Definitely not blocking the microphone or anything. She and others say it sounds like an echo or sometimes blurry.
