outlook app won't connect to exchange

been using it for months with no problem, last night a box popped up that said we are having trouble accessing your account, please log in again. When I do it comes up, says its updating, then says its connecting and then that same box pops up again. It won't even let me go to the other account (gmail) that's set up on outlook. I've tried restarting everything and have checked the information (server, domain) and its the same as it's been all along.Any ideas?

Does using WiFi help? If you can connect over WiFi then it's your carrier's internet connection.
If your exchange account is work-related you should speak to your network admin and see if any changes like security protocols have changed. SSL vs TLS, that kind of thing.
