Wow, that was fast! It took about 60 seconds to complete. I ignored the recommendation to do a fresh restore if I had a lot of data on my device. I had 1.8 GB free and it worked fine.

It works on the stock keyboard, I know that much. It does crash once in a while, though, so that's a qualified "works."

I've been using it for a while and it seems to be fine. As Kev said it works on the stock keyboard.

Try Iconoclasm. It's not updated, but it works well enough to do what you need it to do. I'm using it for the same reason.

Try a hard reboot before trying my next suggestion.

Were you in airplane mode? If not, try that.
