Yes. Go into Settings>iTunes and App Store> click on Apple ID and sign out.

Now go into Settings>General>Date and Time> then turn off Set Automatically> scroll through the year and select 2036

Now go back and do the 1st step and sign back in with your Apple ID

Return to the home screen and open passbook. You should now be able to access the app store.

Now go back into Date and Time and reset to Set Automatically. You're Done!

Don't ask me why, but in the words of Apple "It just works"

Mine connected right in to iTunes from Passbook without me having to do a thing.
I then just signed in from there and it allowed me to download without a problem.
