What is the point of this app? The separate apps collected all provide the same passes etc.... I am still trying to figure out why Apple bothered.

Hehehe. Most people are trying to figure it out. Bottom line is there aren't a lot of places supporting it just yet but it will come.

just because steve jobs thought of it doesn't make it brilliant.
its a pointless app and should be deletable.
just like stocks and newstand and weather and gamecenter and reminders and compass and all the other stupid ass crap that Apple mandates you must have.

If you give it location privileges, it will pull that stores card up and put it on your lock screen without you having to go searching for the app. Kind of convenient once a lot of places pick up on it. The only one I really use regularly is the Walgreens Balance Reward card. Since I work there, it's convenient for me.

As part of the iOS firmware it isn't possible to make it deletable, but I understand your sentiment. I created a folder for all the stock apps that I don't care about and put it on my last page. Unfortunately, some, like Newsstand, can't be put in a folder.

    im with you. :)
folder named 'trash' with all that stuff in it. with newstand right next to it.

a couple ios's ago, there was a glitch and if you were fast, you could drop newstand into a folder.
    that was a nice glitch.
but just like the fatguy with the red stapler.... they "fixed the glitch"
    lol
