is there a way I can set up my iPhone so I don't have to enter my password every time I get something from the app store or iTunes? It would be so much easier to just click what I want and not have to put it in and have it just download.

If you lost your phone someone could run up a big bill for you. Are sure you want that.

I don't think you can. Anyway Prisma has a good point. Just change your password to something easier so it's not so much of a hassle for you.

Personally, I prefer to have to plug the password in. It's not like it's a big effort...and that way someone won't buy a million apps (and music, and movies, etc.) without my approval.

Go into settings. Scroll down to "Store". Enter your username and password. Doesn't this method keep you for signing in everytime you purchase, download and install an app?

Nope. Try it a week (or even a few days) later. It will ask for the password again.

I must be lucky I guess. Anytime I reboot/restart my phone, it always asks me for my iTunes username & password. It also prompts me for it when I briefly loose signal & establish a signal again.

I thought about the whole lost or stolen thing. My password is easy enough. It's just a hassle in general. I have to put in my password for every purchase, even if I just got something 5 minutes prior.

If I buy something, iTunes usually saves my password until I get timed out so to speak. I think the time limit is around 10 minutes.

What bugs me is that it won't go into Landscape so you have to use the teeny keyboard to enter the password.
