I am a pharmaceutical sales rep, I have a new iPhone hoping to improve my time management, using my phonebook, I was going through my contacts, to use this feature I have 499 contacts, when I go to C I have names starting with CA and endiong in CY more than 64 names "c" section in all, I cant get to a name liek Csy*****, without scrolling through the whole list. Does anyone have any tips in making the phonebook jump rather than goingthru the whole list to make a call? Any tips that will make my job easier would be greatly appreciated.

Or scroll to "D" and scroll up.

What you want is a "finder" for the contacts, but there isn't any unless you e-mail or text someone.

exactly ;_;

iPhone could have at LEAST looked at other phones while designing it..

MMS, flash, 3p programs, search, CUT AND PASTE...

any of these would have been nice..

the only thing i can think of besides favortites would be that small grey bar on the right side of the screen, but that only scrolls to the section of the letter you are touching.
