Does anyone know how to transfer a photo in the camera roll to an pre-existing album. Everytime I try, the only option I have is to create a new album to put it in (all the albums are greyd out and are unaccessable). The only way I found to do this is through my Mac (I sync then I manually move the photo to the album on my Mac then sync again). That is a serious pain. Is there a trick I haven't figured out?

    1. Press select and choose a photo
    2. Press Add To
    3. Select a folder

The picture will still remain in the original folder, but it will also appear in the new folder. It isn't really a duplicate and it doesn't take any extra storage space. It's more like a link.

That's what I did. All the album folders are greyed out (unaccessable). The only option I have available is the "create new album". It's been this way for as long as I could remember (at least 2 ios ago).

It only works with the camera roll. You can't add photos from synced folders to existing folders - you can only create a new folder for them. It doesn't make much sense, it's just an Apple restriction.

Just tested it (making sure I wasn't doing anything wrong). Just took a picture. Photo went to the camera roll. Selected it and tapped "sent to". The folders showed up ALL GREYED OUT except for the "new folder". Just don't know what's going on.

Open the album you want to add the photo(s) to first.
Tap Select and you should see Add photos. Select that then select photos you want to add to that album.

When I open a folder, there is no "edit" to tap, only "select", so you cannot add a photo into the said folder. Nice idea but no cigars.

Here are 2 screenshots of what happens in both Europa's and Roofmonkey's suggestion. In Europa's case, you see the albums are all greyed out. In Roofmonkey's case, you see there is no "edit" option. ImageUploadedByiCafe Forums1380843703.449474.jpg ImageUploadedByiCafe Forums1380843716.769149.jpg

Without having a photo selected, open the album where you want to add photos; I selected Wallpaper ImageUploadedByiCafe Forums1380844243.605811.jpg
    Tap on select ImageUploadedByiCafe Forums1380844270.372375.jpg
On the bottom I see ADD ImageUploadedByiCafe Forums1380844292.506286.jpg

Click on add and select what photo(s) you want to put in the Wallpaper album ImageUploadedByiCafe Forums1380844340.590712.jpg

Yeah "selectionner" is french for "select". Here's the bottom of my screen when I do "select". You'll see Our screens are not really the same. I'm puzzled by this. It looks like we're both on ios 7 so why are our screen dissimilar?
