I noticed that if I download my e-mail to Outlook and then try to open it on the phone I get this message:

“This message has been downloaded from the server”.

If it knows this then why doesn’t it clear it off my phone so I don’t have to?

I know my BB would do this for me, not as fast as I would like, but it would.

hmmm... that's a good question. Along with my ActiveSync account I have several pop accounts and I hadn't run into that. My workstation at home regularly pulls the emails down and every so often I catch them on my iPhone. But hadn't seen that message yet.

If you are using a POP account on Outlook or Outlook Express do the following:

Tools// Accounts/ properties// advanced//Delivery//check off "Leave message on server and any other choices you may want.

Good Luck!

PS: This info is based on Outlook and Outlook Express 2003
