Pop ups

    When trying to open some links from her gmail account, my wife gets the message in the photo below. She is using Safari on a Mac Mini. I have checked the pop up settings in safari and the box is unchecked so she shouldn't be having this issue.

    Any other places to shut off pop up blockers??

    You are getting those messages when accessing Gmail? I've never, ever had a pop-up occur in Gmail.

    It isn't really blocking a popup. It's just a side effect of the adware.

    So it can happen on any site? Is it a symptom of the site itself or something on the users computer? Can emails have adware and does Gmail not block that?

    It's not from email. It's adware installed on the user's computer that piggybacked on a program that was installed at some point. I posted a link with instructions for removing it in my first post.
