The me.com email address is active for some members, works sending and receiving. There are some other changes, online calendar, contacts, email, and idisk interfaces are all supposed to be changed according to the email I got from Apple.

I don't think so. I think the 6th is just the day that Bookmark Syncing goes down. Also, I ordered MobileMe with my MacBook and haven't received any notifications of any kind on it.

You know what, I honestly don't know. I will look into it and get you an answer.

I know for a fact that if you purchase any new computer, an iPhone, or are a teacher, that you get the instant $30 off, making it only $69.

The $30 off with the purchase of an iPhone is new, and a great deal.

Yes Sir, please find out for me ASAP. I honestly feel the $30 off is way more appealing than the 60 day trial. I work for Rent A Center & you should see when we give customers a month free to try it out they ALWAYS return it. I can imagine how many 60 day trials will end up inactive on 9-11-08 lol. Apple will still make $69 from the beginning. Good idea Apple

I got the $30 off with the MacBook. Tell me though, over, where did you get confirmation that it's coming out on the 11th? (If it is, I'm gonna have a hell of a lot of stuff to do that day.)
