Pre Approved Credit Number not working?

Anyone else having this problem? Going through the process of signing up and when I get to the billing address, it is asking me for the Pre Approved Credit number I received at the AT&T store. Entering it and it is telling me that it does not valid.

Called AT&T and now the are telling me I have to go back to the store...Anyone else with this problem?

I tried to get pre-approved over the phone before Friday and was told there was no pre-approval. That would have been nice.

They did the credit check in the store which increased the time a bunch, but they did not give us a credit code so when i got back to office to Activate, I ahd nothing to enter ˆn the Credit Code box. I asked about it today and they had no clue. I ahve no idea if that is contributing to my 23 hr wait on original and now one hour wait since trying the new SIM card method.

As big a mess as I can recall.

I'll tell ya what's interesting.

It told me the pre approved number I had wasn't valid. I submitted again with NO number and it went through.

Now I am being told it will require more time and I should receive an e-mail.

Has anyone else removed the code, gone forward and been activated?
