Price is still kicking serious butt. I was thinking the other day about where he may have gone...

i saw him about two years ago...he joined Maceo Parker onstage at a free show for Celebrate Brooklyn...the place went crazy, girls standing on chairs, screaming, crying...the whole thing...

Prince is one of those artists that, as someone in the music biz, I'm really embarrassed that I don't enjoy more. I've tried... listened to all his stuff. I like the 80's material for the memories, but other than that he really doesn't do much for me. I like everything about him and his production style...it all seems like it would work on paper, but it just escapes me.

I know. I suck.

Didn't watch it. Too much catching up to do from today. I will check it out tomorrow.

The world would be much more peaceful minus prince or whatever he likes to be "known as". Between prince and meatloaf, my ears have suffered enough.

Is it me or Prince doesn't age? I for one enjoy Prince. It's refreshing to hear guys do some guitar shredding. Probably an insult to Prince, but reminded me of Lenny Kravitz. Not sure where he's been lately either.

Love how he left the guitar and Jay. I'm Prince. I've rocked and now I'm out.

Lenny's alright, but he's nowhere near the player (or writer, for that matter) Prince is. Craig Ross does most of the lead guitar work on lenny's albums.

I completely agree. Song just reminded me of something you would hear from Lenny.

A while back I read Miles Davis' autobiography. (That book had more cuss words in it than any book-ever). In his book he mentioned how talented of a writer/performer Prince is. I would read that book again but I think I lent it out and never got it back...

Just picked up the new album and it's frikken great. Definitely my favorite this year, and it has a TON of guitar work for those interested.

Highly recommended.
