Just making sure I remember. The time that pre-orders will begin is 3am eastern time zone. Gotta make sure I set my alarm.

The X can't be pre-ordered until late October. The 8 can be pre-ordered at 3:00 am EST 9/15/17.

Went from upgrading every cycle from 3G to 6 Plus to putting a halt to it ever since AT&T stopped its subsidies and began the Next program. But here I am back for another pre-order day like the good ol' days. See y'all at 3:01 a.m.

Ordered the 8+ in gold for my wife, very easy ordering experience using the Apple app.

I just ordered the 8 Plus with 256 GB in Space Gray on the Apple app as well. Super easy.

I probably could have gotten away with 64 GB but since I'm basically giving this phone back in a year and it's only $6-7 more per month I chose the 256 GB. Now I can shoot all my videos in 4K and not worry.

That's exactly how I feel about choosing a 256 GB iPhone X.

Waiting an extra month and risking a possible destruction of my phone with no more AC+ was not worth the risk. Also I wanted to wait and make sure Face ID is smooth. I've been an early adopter of new models and products and all of them have had issues. I also like the size of the Plus. I like having all my cases fitting. I'm still excited to hear how the X pans out.

I ordered through AT&T and they had a wait time with a progress bar. Said I had a minute wait but took closer to 5 to get in. I went with a silver 256 GB 8 plus with a sept 22 delivery.

Just received notice that my CC was just charged from Apple. Must be official now.

Dammit. Just lost my post for some reason. Here's the cliff notes version redo.

I remembered this afternoon that tonight was preorders. But didn't think about it until I was coming in to go to bed about 11:25 local time in Alaska. Preorders have been open for over 30 minutes now.

Looks like all models I'm interested in for both iPhone 8 Plus and the Series 3 Watch are still available with launch day delivery and launch day pick up available at DC area Apple stores where I will be traveling next week.

I still haven't decided what I want to do this time.

I think I'll sleep on it.

I’m getting the X in 256gb, I have always gone with the Plus for the added camera features, but always longed for the size of the non Plus version. This is like the best of both worlds to me. Smaller phone (than the plus size I’ve been carrying for 3 years) and slightly bigger screen.

I plan to get the iPhone X and use my 14 day return period to all the testing I need.

I've also been an early adopter of the new models and have had no issues.

I would love to see the X in Plus size next year with no cutout. That's one of my OCD issues. May end up being a non issue, but for now it's one of the issues I had.
