It is my daughters iPod touch that i am having an issue with. Each time I try to upgrade to version 6.0.1 via iTunes I get the error: There was a problem downloading the software for the iPod "Daughters iPod". The service is temporarily unavailable.
I click on the more info button but everything is up to date, there are no other things plugged into a USB, etc, etc. I am not sure what to do.
Have tried on 2 different PC's but to no avail. Can anyone assist?
The version is 4.2.1 if that make ANY difference.

Thanks for your help,
John

I was having issues connecting to iTunes yesterday while trying to download podcasts, Maybe they were down because I tried a few hours later and they downloaded.

Try again maybe and see if it will download the software now.
