Hello All,
I'm buying my younger son an iPod Touch for Christmas. I'm actually also getting my older son an iPhone so I guess this applies to both. How do I keep them on my iTunes account, without them getting imessage that are directed to me? I want to be able to message them both, but I'm wondering if I have to put them both on separate (new) iTunes account in order to set up separate imessage?

I'm having the same problem, but I don't want to have separate iTunes account only messaging. That means I'll have to buy all the iTunes app, music, ect again! Is there a less expensive fix for this? lol

If you go to the summary of the iPod in iTunes, one of the checklist options at the bottom will say manually "manage music," this will make it so you can drag music/apps and such directly to your iPod on the left side menu. I don't know for sure that this is the reason, but I can get music and apps bought on my other family members accounts. Its worth a shot.
