Install summerboard and just make your own theme.

Its the easiest way to change the icons without having to touch the original files.

The icon's name is Ipod.png for summerboard themes.

I just did this; it's the only way to change the iPod's icon.

I had a nice setup going on the phone, so I made a theme out of it. If you like what you have now but want to add the iPod icon, do this:

1) Create a new folder (on the computer) and name it whatever you want the theme to be named.

2) Get your background wallpaper, dock, status bar, etc., and name them Wallpaper.png, Dock.png, StatusBar.png, and so on.

3) Create another folder inside the original, name it Icons. Put all the icons you want to change in this folder, including the iPod ones. The should be named with the ir applications' name, such as iPod.png and Installer.png.

4) Drop your folder into /var/root/Library/SummerBoard/Themes.

5) You can now find it in SMBPrefs.
