Hi all. When my "classic" iPhone is in the cradle - the OEM one that came in the box - the touch behavior is extremely erratic. If I do a quick tap on something, that's usually okay. But if I try to slide or scroll, forget it. For example, if I'm looking at my inbox and I try to scroll up and down through the list of messages, the iPhone behaves as though my finger is jumping all over the screen randomly and will select a message to display, perhaps show the delete button for a message, or anything else that would come from random taps.

As soon as I take it out of the cradle, it's fine. Is this a known issue? FWIW, I am not using the original cable in the cradle. I currently have this arrangement:

A/C receptacle
AC ~> 12V DC adapter (cigarette lighter socket output)
"tunecast auto" FM transmitter/charger
OEM cradle
iPhone

Thanks

I would think if it works fine off the cradle it is the nature of your configuration. Some of these after market products may cause some havoc on the phones system. My cradle has worked fine since day one.
