Brandon Moss, an outfielder for the Cleveland Indians hit his 100th career home run last night. The ball landed in his team's bullpen. The pitchers in the bullpen issued the following list of demands to Moss if he wants the ball.
Tim Cook lead off WWDC with this story, showed that he acquired the ball, and said that Apple would pay the ransom so that Brandon Moss could have the ball. He showed the list, and for some reason, the lube wasn't on there. Hmmmmmmmm......
I'll post a couple screen shots I snapped on my Golden 64 GB iPhone 6 Plus later.
I don't know that I'd go so far as to call it "a great gesture." I mean, we're talking about a guy(Moss) who is slated to earn $6.5 million playing baseball this summer. He's good for the list with pocket change.
This was nothing more than a publicity stunt by Cook. Well done, Tim!
But the larger question remains.....what about the lube??
