They look legitimate to me also. Just remember if the deal seems to be to good to be true it probably is. Caveat emptor 'let the buyer beware'

Well hi everyone i'm Gina and I'm a new member to everythingicafe. I currently have an iPhone 3g 16gs. Back to your question the second picture to me seems to be a fake iPhone.

I'd be more concerned about the feedback of the seller and where it's coming from. If the feedback is low or the person has sold sweaters in the past and now has a bunch of iPhones for sale, I'd be careful. When an account changes dramatically like it, it can mean the account has been hijacked and those auctions are fraud.

They may just be giving serial numbers from real iPhones and selling a different product. $120 is pretty dang cheap.

I would say these wont be real iPhones, i would guess at that cheap they will be replica's read the ebay listing VERY carefuly, as in small print or something it will probably say replica or something. I would also guess that after this seller gets rid of them all wholesale at crazy prices you wont be able to contact them again!

let us know if you get one!

China iPhones are not the real ones. They have built in 2 or 4GB memory and lot of other differences. But, I heard they work fine. Usually legit sellers mention that it is not Apple iPhone. Go to ebay, search for 'china iPhone' you get plenty of them.

I read somewhere about China requiring all iPhones to have WiFi disabled - their typical censorship rules. I would stay away. 120 is too good to be true :) for a real iPhone

Ive noticed that there are a lot of "iPhones" coming from China. They are not real iPhones, they mimic them to a t but the difference is in the inside. Alot that I have seen that claim to be iPhones do not have the GPS, or wifi, and claim to be the 16gb but in actuality only have 1gb.

Thanks for the tip no one new about ry-on40 (sarcasm)
who wouldn't know that anything coming from china is fake?
I gotta agree those pictures seem legit
BUT tell him to turn it on.
We will be the judges if it's real or not
by the font, look, etc.
