Remember, You Can Flush iPhone Memory (RAM) on a Stock iPhone

    In case you didn't know or forgot, just press and hold the power button until the "slide to power off" appears. Now, hold the home button down until the screen flashes. Your RAM is flushed.

    Mine didn't flash, just went back to the home screen. Did it flush?

    That basically force-quits all running apps, I assume?

    It may do the same thing Battery Doctor does.

    Mine didn't flash either.

    It does appear to flush the RAM, or at least force quit active apps. I did a test where I opened four apps; FB, Twitter, Google Maps, and Safari. After performing the technique, all four apps restarted when I accessed them from the app switcher.

    Cool trick, I don't think I ever knew about this one. I've always wished there was a stock method of doing a respring.

    I can't wait till I'm using this trick to flush 2 GB of RAM instead of just the one :(
